Barware glass racks could get *Extremely* heavy, and mid-back, neck posture and upper core strength is important, along with good lift + twist form. Dishwashing can be a demoralizing vocation and not well suited for the not-physically-fit and/or tall, having to look down constantly and such. Think of it being the one case, where the one time, where the one Production Engineer gets along better with the Marketing department people better than the other production engineers for the first time ever. Either way it was still more preferable to the best office space (get it?) job i've ever had. Not terribly so, but I made more friendly acquaintances with FoH much sooner and more so than BoH. They are actually All, probably good people, but it -IS- the first time working in food service where the BoH maybe seemed more cliquee and insular than FoH. ![]() Spend the first two or three hours of your shift catching up and then trying to stay caught up and then it's time to do all the closing stuff typical day typical shift What is a typical day like for you at the company? What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Īt this particular Applebee's there's a lot of young people and in their first job it appeared that everybody thought you just look out for yourself and basically that's all I saw is everybody looking out for themselves the dishes were stacked Sky High sometimes somebody did a few of them but usually everybody just stayed to their job and let everything pile up in the other positions that the dishwasher position anyway each day so from 11:00 when they open till 4:00 p.m. They had no dishwasher there till 4:00 p.m. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? This part really doesn't matter cuz the way they let go of me behind a complete lie and wouldn't identify the person who said it it just overshadows every positive experience I could have had it was lousy working there What is the best part of working at the company? ![]()
